Stil alive. Still kicking.

Hello everyone! Brain Soup (and the brain behind it) is still alive and plotting. I am currently looking into Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/) for funding so the magazine can get pasted just the first issue, and to improve and expand on many aspects of the book. Despite long radio silence, I have been busy.

Submissions are now closed for issue #1

I’ve read some great stuff for issue #1 of Brain Soup Magazine! But for now submissions are now closed. I would like to thank everyone who submitted work! Issue #1 should be ready for sale in winter, but no exact date is doing to be set. Thanks everyone!

And so it begins…

Brain Soup Magazine is, first and foremost, a literary magazine. We will feature one or two works of non-fiction, but the primary features will be works of strange fiction. Every month we will feature a piece of artwork that will serve as our cover.

Just to make it clear, this is going to be a print magazine. This is not an online thing. Someday there will be a strong online element, but for right now there is just this. I will post updates on here of what is up with the magazine, where it is heading, and when its time to hit the printers. Now, to everyone who would like to get involved, this wont be a quick thing.
